Darko Tipurić is a full professor at the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb. He also leads two postgraduate specialist programs, "MBA - Business Management" and "Strategy and Corporate Governance." In addition to his academic duties, he serves as the President of the Croatian Economic Association. Over the course of his career, Darko Tipurić has held several prominent leadership positions, including Vice Dean, and Dean of the Faculty of Economics & Business.
Darko Tipurić has authored and edited more than 20 books and published more than 200 scientific and professional papers on strategic management, business decision-making, and corporate governance. His books on corporate governance and strategic management have significantly shaped the development of these fields in the Southeast Europe region. He chairs the program committee of the International OFEL conference on Governance, Management and Entrepreneurship and serves on the program and editorial boards of several international conferences and academic journals.
He has received numerous awards in recognition of his research and teaching contributions. As a consultant, Darko Tipurić has worked with a wide range of Croatian and international companies, contributing to projects focused on entrepreneurship, leadership, management, and corporate governance, especially in transitional economies. He is the founder of SEECGAN, an academic network dedicated to advancing corporate governance in Southeast Europe, and is actively involved in various other scientific and professional associations. For his humanitarian work, he was awarded Rotary International's highest honor, the "Service Above Self" award.
